Welcome to CEPI
The Congressional European Parliament Initiative (CEPI), the first program of its kind, is dedicated to forging a common trans-Atlantic political culture by facilitating better policy cooperation and best-practice exchange between the US Congress and the European Parliament through the staffer’s perspective. The program was established on January 1, 2010 with a two-year grant from the European Commission. The Commission issued a second two-year grant on January 1, 2012 to continue the project. The project is administered by the Washington, DC office of the Bertelsmann Foundation and the Brussels office of the Germany-based Bertelsmann Stiftung.
